I watched the news tonight and they had a topic about parents wanting to move trick or treating to Saturday instead of Sunday. I think that is a form of animism. I thought that was interesting.

Is this animism or simply out of convenience for parents and families? My county did hold their trick or treaing on Saturday however, I feeling is they did it because there would not be work or school the following day. With that said, it may have very well been because Sunday is “church” day and there was concern over missing church to trick or treat. If that is the case then you maybe right and moving trick or treating from Sunday to Saturday may very well be a form of animism.
